Dave started his journey in professional football at Pro Football Support as regional manager where he worked with over 30 professional football academies in England, such as Premier League Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town, conducting physical testing and providing individualised training programmes for players age 7 – 16. Dave moved on to work at FC Halifax Town where he was part of the team to set up a new academy at the club, as well as being the assistant first-team strength and conditioning coach. This role culminated in a victory in the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium, the biggest achievement in the club’s history. In 2016 he moved to Singapore to work for ESPZEN as Senior Coach, working mainly with ages 6 – 10; Daves work resulted in the u8 age category having the most teams ESPZEN ever had at that age group. After a brief spell as Programme Manager at the end of 2017, he decided to leave the soccer school in February 2018 and join Andy in starting British Football Academy. Dave holds a BSc Sports Coaching from Leeds Metropolitan University, FA Level 2 and Youth Module licenses and comes with over 15 years of experience in working with young players.
